We look back at the fabulous year we’ve had with our beagles! This year saw Abby awarded Best in Specialty Show, Multiple Best in Group awards and a string of challenges which edges her ever closer to her Grand Champion title.

After having to desex Keeper due to health issues, we decided to enter him into shows as a Neuter and boy did he take the shows by storm! Keeper earned his Neuter Title in 7 shows, being awarded 3 Best Neuter in Shows, and 2 Reserve Neuter In Show awards. Keeper has found a new lease of life, and is thoroughly enjoying his time in the ring with me.

2016 also saw the addition to our pack of Poppy from Houndmaster Beagles in WA. Poppy’s pedigree adds valuable lines to our breeding program and she has proven to be a lovely producer with her first litter arriving in August.

From this litter, we are running on Oscar who has had some lovely wins as a baby puppy with 2 Baby Puppy in Group awards. This litter also brought two new lovely families into our lives, whom we’ve shared some lovely weekends with since. We are extremely lucky to have found some wonderful families for our babies to be spoilt by.

With the wonderful results of 2016, we look forward to what 2017 holds for our beagles in the show ring. On the home front, I’m sure it involves lots more lounging around in the air conditioning, chasing their remote control car, and beach trips!
