It’s been a while…
March 20, 2024Wow, life certainly does get away from you. The pitter patter became the most destructive boys I’ve ever had! Callie tried her hardest to wrangle them, but boy they were naughty. Whilst naughty, the “Hotbox Boys” certainly were beautiful. Callie and Bolty did a wonderful job, and their new owners are loving their mischievous personalities. I don’t take responsibility for their destruction and attitudes though! And there’s a no refund policy until they are 18 months old!
When the babies were 10 weeks old, we jetted off to the U S of A for a 5 week holiday. Nothing like jumping in the deep end from never having a holiday overseas, to spending 5 weeks in a place that I wasn’t sure if I’d even like. One of the main reasons we went over, was to attend the Beagle National in Texas and meet some wonderful people I’ve spoken to over the internet for so long. They were even better in real life and I’m so lucky to have had the opportunity to meet them and give them huge hugs hello and tears goodbye.
America surely was interesting, we explored from the West to the East Coast, and inland through the middle to New Orleans, and west again, before landing in Mesquite, Texas. It was a wonderful experience, but there’s nothing like coming home and seeing all our dogs (and puppies) again.
Back home, and there was a lot to catch up. With the dogs, puppies, and work! I think we are still catching up on the work side. Andrew has started a blog and is in the process of recording our trip with photos. Checking it out! https://www.ison.blog/ It’s still a work in progress.
Unfortunately in the past two months, we’ve had some terrible news, and I will make separate posts about them, as they deserve that.
